  • When you purchase our music for autoharp, you will be given access to download a standard PDF file. The link is viable for 24 hours. This download is for personal use only.

  • Absolutely! The pdf files that you download are a standard file type. You can view them on a digital tablet or print them out on your home printer.

  • Yes! This is a standard PDF file. You can download the file to your computer and print to your printer, as many times as you like.

  • No, this is not sheet music that has notes. The PDF downloads contain the lyrics of the song, plus the playable chords, typically by word. On autoharp, this allows players to pick the melody by ear.

    UPDATE: Some jigs are being shown with notes, but you do not need to read music to use our music.

  • Free samples need to be added to your cart just like any other item. If you add only free songs, you will NOT be required to enter a credit card number. After submitting your cart, a download link is emailed to you.

  • You can use our chords with either type of autoharp! Although, depending on the instrument, tone will sound differently. If you are playing a “diatonic,” which is an autoharp in a particular key, it will be easier to pick the individual notes, by ear, however, our chords can also be used with a chromatic autoharp.

  • The keys are listed in the description. If an out-of-the-ordinary chord is used, other than a typical major or minor it will be mentioned in the description.

  • You can, however, our chords are much more detailed for autoharp. The chords allow the player to access the specific notes, so that players can pick the melody by ear.

  • A PDF file is a “portable document format” file that can be opened and viewed on a Mac or a PC, typically in a viewer such as Adobe Acrobat or Preview on Mac.

  • If you would like a piece of music transcribed for autoharp, please contact us via our contact page, linked at the bottom of this page. However, we are only able to take requests of songs that are in the public domain in terms of copyright. If the music is under copyright (US or elsewhere) that prohibits use, then we will not be able to fulfill your request. Songs can be looked up in the US’s Library of Congress.
